Our substantial and cohesive family law changes are unique in the nation. Our process of working them out together from shared principles is unique in the nation. Uniquely and remarkably, we’ve achieved even more; where there had been distrust and disdain, we’ve built friendship and the willingness to listen to others and honor each other’s experiences and concerns.
Hopefully, our work will make less contentious the difficult task of determining parenting-time arrangements when parents separate. Perhaps it will even model a different process.
